Thank you so much for choosing life for your precious child(ren).  We recognize the decision you are facing is probably the most difficult, selfless, and loving decision any parent can make for their child(ren).  We are praying for you and asking that God would give you wisdom and discernment to make the best choice for your child, be it to parent or to choose an adoption plan.  Thank you so much for taking the time to read our profile and learn more about our family! 

We are Todd and Erica!  We met at a Christian Camp in 2001, spent a year getting to know each other long distance and developed a best friend relationship.  We decided to pursue a relationship and one year later, we were married.  Over the last 5 ½ years we have been on mountaintops and walked through some deep valleys.  We have experienced the death of a child born very premature and a following miscarriage which stretched us more than we ever could have imagined.  Yet, in the midst of these trials, our faith in Jesus Christ and our commitment to each other has strengthened us and given us many opportunities to help other people.

Todd is an officer in the United States Air Force.  He has a Bachelor’s in Business; a Master’s in Business Management and is currently working on his Master’s degree in Theological Studies.  Erica is a stay at home mom to our three year old daughter Jordyn.  She has a Bachelor’s in Church Ministry and has used this degree to work with several Youth Ministries over a 10 year period!  Our desire to work together in ministry is very important to us.  In October of 2007, we were given the opportunity to become Marriage Mentor’s at our church and we currently lead a Bible Study filled with newly married and engaged couples. 

Jordyn is our 3 year old daughter.  She is a sweet, fun-loving little girl that makes friends with everyone she meets.  She enjoys her Pre-School classes two days a week, play dates and going to church to learn about Jesus!  Jordyn also enjoys gymnastics classes, visits to Monkey Joes, taking walks and swimming.  Together as a family, we enjoy hosting parties, traveling to see family and friends, taking vacations to places like Europe and Hawaii, going for walks, visiting amusement parks, taking trips to the zoo, many outdoor activities and helping other people.  We feel the best legacy we could instill in our children is to love God and to love other people.  Therefore, we actively pursue opportunities to help our family, friends and even strangers as the needs arise.

Our desire to adopt was planted in our minds long ago as single people.  To us, adoption speaks so greatly of God’s love for us and how are adopted into His family.  We believe that adoption is one of the greatest ways that we can live out the Bible and we are so excited to begin this journey.  We understand that parenting an adoptive child will carry unique opportunities and we look forward to every moment of it.  Our plan is for our child to know that he or she was adopted from the beginning and to come to understand the tremendous love you have for him or her.  We will honor you and your unselfish decision with age appropriate communication to answer any questions our child has.  We’d love to send you letters, videos and photos throughout the years!
